- We will start at your hotel or residence in San Francisco. We will do part of the tour driving, but also do some walking to see neighborhoods more in depth. - Alamo Square has amazing architecture and beautiful views. We will see postcard row, AKA the Painted Ladies. - Then we will continue to the Haight Ashbury, center of the counter-culture and birth of the hippie movement in the 1960"s. - Later we will walk through the Castro, and talk about the development of the iconic LGBTQ neighborhood. Then we will drive to Dolores Park, for more memorable views, and tour the Mission to see some amazing murals, the birthplace of the Mission burrito, childhood neighborhood of Carlos Santana, famous for festivals and Latino heritage.
