This incredible tour features a visit to Muir Woods National Park, featuring giant historic old-growth coastal Redwoods; spectacular panoramic photo opportunities in the Marin Headlands above The Golden Gate Bridge; an up-close look at the famous houseboats of Sausalito; finally, a stroll through download Sausalito for lunch and shopping. Muir Woods features some of the most stunning historic Redwoods that have survived to this day. They are thousands of years old and over 280 feet tall. The park receives over 1 million visitors a year. We will have fantastic photo opportunities above the Golden Gate Bridge. The first features the iconic bridge in the background, as well as downtown photos of sausalito along the water and photos among the houseboats. At Fort Cronkite/Rodeo Beach, you may catch surfers enjoying the ocean waves.
Had a great half day with Joseph. Was prompt to our hotel and had a comfortable ride out to the forest. He was very knowledgeable and always willing to take pictures for us. Took us to a great sandwich shop and touring the house boats and learning about their history was so interesting

Muir Woods was closed due to the government shutdown. Joseph made adjustments and took us to a different location to see the redwoods and accommodated requests from the group for two additional stops. Very friendly, the car was beautiful, and Joseph was very nice while dealing with mobility issues that one of our group has. Great stops, we all enjoyed the tour. We would request a tour from Joseph again if we are back in the area.

Joe was a great tour guide in San Francisco and surroundings! He was flexible as we changed our pick up spot the night before the tour. He brought us to the best GGB photo location! He also gave great recommendations for lunch. Muir Woods was so beautiful! My daughter and I could have spent the entire day there! Joe was also flexible and kind enough to allow us to extend our day trip by 2 hours! Wonderful day, barely scratched the surface of San Francisco, so we will need to come back!
I will pick you up from your hotel in my comfortable 8-seater Chevrolet Suburban with plush leather interior, and we will depart across The Golden Gate Bridge. - Our first destination will be Muir Woods National Park, where you will be dropped off at the entrance and given 1 hour to leisurely explore the forest featuring historic and magnificent giant coastal Redwoods. - Head to the houseboat community. 15 minute walk along the dock as you admire the beauty and charm of the houseboat community. - Stroll through downtown Sausalito and lunch at Venice Gourmet Delicatessen in front of the SF city skyline. The restaurant also sells souvenirs and SF memorabilia. - Head up the Marin Headlands for a spectacular photo opportunity above the Golden Gate Bridge. -Head back to your drop off location.
