Before making the move to Oahu with my family in 2014, I lived in Japan for 35+ years and worked on the US military installations as a fireman for 16yrs. Overview of your Honolulu tour
We start with pickup in Waikiki. On the way to Pearl Harbor we will drive through the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (PUNCHBOWL CRATER) to take in and honor the immense sacrifice of the fallen hero's of WWII, the Korean War, and Vietnam. Once we arrive at Pearl Harbor you are on your way to experience the exhibits that the Pearl Harbor National Memorial has to offer. After Pearl Harbor we head to the Historic Town of Haleiwa for Lunch. After lunch we drive along the north shore and head to Waimea Valley where you will immerse yourself in a beautiful botanical garden with the option to swim at the waterfall at the end. From Waimea Valley we head down and continue along the scenic route and enjoy the views of the North Shore down the Kooalau Mountain Range making stops along the way. Note: *VERY STRICT BAGGAGE RESTRICTIONS! (Leave your stuff in the vehicle with me and visit Pearl Harbor Stress free) *This tour DOES NOT include time for "FORD ISLAND" (USS MISSOURI, Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum).
