After 25 years living abroad, I’ve returned here to my New England roots. As an expat (and seasoned traveler to 117 countries), I’ve learned firsthand that what makes travel experiences special are the people we meet along the way. I am an experienced guide here in Boston (and also in Brazil) that loves to share my insight, knowledge and positive vibes with people from around the world. I love showing travelers why Boston is such a dynamic, historic and exciting city to visit! I am also an avid football fan, so very much looking forward to World Cup action here in Boston!!

Welcome to Boston on the Ball — the walking tour that proves you don't need a stadium to feel the electricity of the World Cup. This is Boston's story told through cobblestones, cannons, and a little bit of football magic. We'll wind our way through the city's most storied corners — from the lantern-lit alleys of the North End to the sweeping green of Boston Common, and along the legendary Freedom Trail — stopping to connect the dots between American revolutionary history and the global story of the beautiful game. Expect fascinating World Cup trivia woven throughout, spirited conversation, great photo stops, and just enough walking to justify a post-tour cannoli in the North End. Whether you're a die-hard soccer fan or just here for the buzz of the tournament, this tour will leave you with a whole new appreciation for Boston — and for football.
We begin at Old North Church, Boston’s oldest surviving church and the launch point of Paul Revere’s midnight ride. Then head to Copp’s Hill Burying Ground for harbor and North End views. From there, we explore the North End, Boston’s oldest continuously inhabited neighborhood and the heart of its Italian-American community, lined with bakeries, trattorias, and social clubs. Next is Faneuil Hall, the “Cradle of Liberty,” where revolutionaries once gathered and where World Cup energy now spills into the plaza. We continue to City Hall, a bold brutalist landmark and major civic gathering space, then follow the Freedom Trail past Old Granary Burying Ground and Park Street Church to Boston Common, America’s oldest public park. We finish in Beacon Hill, wandering its gas-lit streets, brick rowhouses, and flower-filled facades — a beautifully preserved neighborhood that feels like stepping into the 19th century.

This meeting point is flexible; Old North Church is the easiest spot to progress on our tour without having to double back, but we can redesign it to start/end elsewhere.
