Walk the Freedom Trail and experience, firsthand, Boston's historic buildings and locations related to the founding of the city and events leading to Independence: the Common, the Granary burial ground, Liberty Square, the Boston Massacre Site & Colony House, Faneuil Hall and Marshall Street. We'll cover the North End and Copp's Hill, with the option to cross the bridge to Charlestown and Breed's Hill. We'll round it up back in Beacon Hill ending at an agreed upon place. Many opportunities to pause, take photos, and see sites! People, for generations, worked and met here to plan actions that changed our world. Some of the names we know. Others aren't often remembered. We enjoy blessings derived from their dedication.
-We'll start the tour at Boston Common near Beacon Hill. From here, we'll walk to: -The Granary Burial Ground and Park Street Church. -King's Chapel and its Burial Ground. -The School Street Sites (Boston Latin School Original Location, Old City Hall, Old Corner Bookstore -Ticknor and Fields Publishers-). -Old South Meeting House, Spring Lane and the Birthplace of Benjamin Franklin. -Liberty Square. -The Old State House and the Boston Massacre Location. -Faneuil Hall and Marshall Street: Ebenezer Hancock House, the Green Dragon Tavern & Union Oyster House. -The Paul Revere House and North Square. -Father Taylor and the Seaman's Bethel. -Christ Church (Old North Church) and Copp's Hill Burial Ground -Charlestown and the USS Constitution -The Bunker Hill Monument -Abiel Smith School & the African Meeting House -Louisbourg Square, Acorn Street and Beacon Hill.

Please consider how you will get to the tour route, which begins on the Boston Common. I can meet you at your hotel, but some hotels are far from the trail. I recommend starting at the Boston Common Visitor Center, 139 Tremont Street, Boston. We can start at another location, but please consider the distance, time, weather and temperatures, when you select a meeting place. Looking forward to meeting you!
