.Welcome to Boston! I’m a born-and-raised Bostonian with 40 years of guiding experience, and I genuinely enjoy showing off my hometown. Whether this is your first visit or your fifth, I’ll help you explore Boston in a way that’s fun, informative, and tailored to your interests. Before guiding full-time, I spent many years as a middle school teacher while touring on weekends and summers, so I know how to keep things engaging for all ages. My tours strike a balance between history, stories, architecture, hidden gems, and just the right amount of trivia. You’ll walk away knowing more about Boston, but you’ll also laugh, take some great photos, and have a good time along the way. My philosophy is that tours should always be fun, never boring! I welcome everyone: solo travelers, families, and corporate groups. Each tour is designed around your pace and priorities. Want more history? Great. Prefer local spots and scenic views? We can do that too. Want less walking, no problem. I offer walking tours, driving tours, or a mix of both, whatever works best for your group. Every tour can be customized. In addition to being a licensed guide to transport passengers, I’ve worked as an operations manager for a major sightseeing company as well as a hotel concierge. If you need restaurant tips, help planning your day, or ideas for things to do beyond the tour, I’m happy to help. A few more things about me: - City of Boston licensed guide since 1985 with a CDL and a Boston Sightseeing License to legally transport passengers - Member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Boston Tour Guide Association and Head of Communications - Hold two master’s degrees in education - Lead guide for a private Boston sightseeing tours company - Former operations manager at a large Boston tour company - Lifelong Boston sports fan! I am happy to show you where the championships happen Let’s make your time in Boston memorable for all the right reasons. Whether you have a few hours or a full day, I’ll show you the best of this incredible city.

This tour covers virtually everything that Boston, Cambridge & Charlestown has to offer. Together we will take a step back into history, while seeing what makes Boston a modern American city. Neal was a wonderful, fun, and knowledgeable tour guide! His background as a Social Studies teacher is obvious, as he knows so many interesting facts and backstories. Neal was completely accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with him!

Neal gives an excellent tour of Boston. He deserves a 5+ rating. He customized our tour due to a very hot day in Boston which was very appreciated. Neal is a Boston “native” and former history teacher so he has a wealth of knowledge about Boston sites and its history.

Neal was excellent in our tour of Boston. He took us everywhere. I am so glad he was driving ( not me) as that was adventure in Boston traffic. He customized the tour for us to show us so many things. He knows so much about the history of Boston it was amazing. The drive and walk was perfect mixture. His enthusiasm for Boston is infectious. I would absolutely go on tour with him again and recommend him to anyone interested in seeing and hearing a lot about Boston in a day. Thank you.

We had an excellent all-day tour with Neal! He was very engaging and has an extensive knowledge about the history and geographic highlights of Boston and Cambridge. He brought us by car and by foot to all the highlights of Boston, plus Cambridge, as we requested to go there. He knew all the must sees, but was open to what we wanted as well. We definitely recommend touring with Neal to get a good feel of Boston. We want a return visits as a result of our excellent tour of this very, clean, vibrant city.

Neal was an excellent guide. We had a two day tour of Boston that covered everything that we wanted to see and more. Neal is extremely knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. We enjoyed all his stories while walking the Freedom Trail and during the driving portion of the tour when we saw Harvard, Fenway Park, and other attractions that are farther out. I would highly recommend Neal for a very comprehensive and historically correct tour with a twist of humor!
