.Welcome to Boston! I’m a born-and-raised Bostonian with 40 years of guiding experience, and I genuinely enjoy showing off my hometown. Before guiding full-time, I spent many years as a middle school teacher while touring on weekends and summers, so I know how to keep things engaging for all ages. My tours strike a balance between history, stories, architecture, hidden gems, and just the right amount of trivia. You’ll walk away knowing more about Boston, but you’ll also laugh, take some great photos, and have a good time along the way. My philosophy is that tours should always be fun, never boring! I welcome everyone: solo travelers, families, and corporate groups. Each tour is designed around your pace and priorities. Want more history? Great. Prefer local spots and scenic views? We can do that too. Want less walking, no problem. I offer walking tours, driving tours, or a mix of both, whatever works best for your group. Every tour can be customized. In addition to being a licensed guide to transport passengers, I’ve worked as an operations manager for a major sightseeing company as well as a hotel concierge. If you need restaurant tips, help planning your day, or ideas for things to do beyond the tour, I’m happy to help. For those who can't decide between a driving tour & a walking tour, this 4 hour journey covers all the highlights of Boston in a luxury minivan and on foot. Join me & have a great time as we take a step back into history. Walk through the historic North End, (Little Italy) home to the Old North Church & legendary Paul Revere house. See the many sights along the historic Freedom Trail & the luxury homes of Beacon Hill. Enjoy the beauty of the upscale Victorian Back Bay, and if time allows, go across the river to Cambridge, home of some of the world's finest institutions of higher education including Harvard and MIT. I will show you all of the hidden places that most visitors miss. Option to not walk as much (or at all) is available. You will see virtually all Boston has to offer in half a day. This was an amazing tour! We saw all the classic sites in Boston and more. Our guide, Neal, was so incredibly knowledgeable about Boston and its history, and was simply a fun guy to be around for the 4+ hours we spent with him.
