Hi! My name is Christian and I have been a tour guide here in Boston for more then 20 years. I first came to Boston as a college student where I studied History and Secondary Education at Boston College, one of the dozens of great universities in the Boston area. The first time I led tours was shortly after I graduated college and the job has become a passion of mine ever since. Showing visitors this amazing city is a true honor. Boston has so much to offer, from arts, to culture to architecture. And then of course there is the history! It would be difficult to find a city in America as rich in history as Boston. The true charm of Boston is the fact every where you turn history is staring you in the face. I love the words of William Faulkner, "The past is never dead. It's not even past. " That couldn't be more true than here in Boston. If you were to join me on one of my tours, you could expect to learn stories and see things that even the most experienced visitors to Boston would find new and amazing. I relish the opportunity to add fresh perspective and new insight to all those who take my tour. Attention to detail and client satisfaction are truly what make tours successful and memorable. I have an easy going personality and really enjoy making each tour unique and suited to the particular interests of the client. Whether it be history, shopping, pub crawling, pop culture, food or sports, you just let me know and I will use my vast tour guide experience to show you something new. Giving tours is like traveling the world without ever leaving home, and as much as I love my city and showing people it's amazing sights, the real joy of my job is making new friends. The personal interactions that develop during a private tour are really the reason I love this job. I am always open to make new friends and learn a thing or two myself. I hope you'll take one of my tours and we will have a chance to connect. Overview of your Boston tour

This is a 5 hour driving tour that will focus on the story of how the American Revolution began. In April of 1775 the American Revolution began here in New England when the local population took up arms and fought with the powerful British Army. Starting in Boston this tour will cover the events that led up to that pivotal moment. The tour will highlight the early culture of New England that sowed the seeds of independence, the significance of the French and Indian War as a precursor to the American Revolution, the tax revolts that led to imposition of martial law and the arrival of the British Army and the legendary midnight ride of Paul Revere. After beginning in Boston, the tour will follow the path of Paul Revere to the the town of Lexington where the first shots of the war were fired and then on to Concord where the colonists fired the "Shot Heard Round the World" and altered the course of history. If you love history or the scenic New England countryside this is the perfect tour for you.

Christian lived up to his outstanding reviews. He had a tough crowd too-4 teenagers! He was very knowledgeable and made sure he engaged everyone. The transportation was very comfortable as well. Most of my kids even said this tour was the highlight of their trip. When you book with him, ask him why cans of beans in Boston only have 239 beans 😆. Thanks for the awesome time and memories!

Christian was SUPER!! We explained our interests and he gladly accommodated us. He is full of information about the wonderful city of Boston; even the kids found it all very interesting. His driving put us at ease. He was very easy to work with and in our opinion he went above and beyond! I read several tour guides bios and Christian just seemed a good fit for our group/ourvinterests and he did not disappoint!

I chose this tour based on the great reviews and 5 mins into the tour knew it was going to be amazing. Christian’s wealth of knowledge on the subject matter and ability to discuss the historical events in a simple, easy to follow style was outstanding and appreciated. Everyone in my group kept turning to me and commenting on how great a tour it was throughout the 5 hours. From Paul Reveres house to the U.S.S. Constitution, the drive past MIT and Harvard, to visiting the towns of Lexington and Concord
the tour was exactly what was advertised and more. I’d highly recommend booking this tour. You will not be disappointed!

Christian was the perfect tour guide for our family of five! We did the full-day tour covering the Freedom Trail sites in Boston plus Lexington and Concord, and we'd give it 10 stars if we could. Christian is warm, personable, and a great driver - plus you get a smooth and clean ride in his Honda Odyssey minivan, which was perfect for our family of five. What really stood out was how naturally he tailored the experience to our group. With some of us deep history buffs and others less so, he found just the right balance to keep everyone engaged and entertained throughout the day. He is knowledgeable about so much more than the Revolutionary War...Boston history, neighborhoods, restaurants, etc, so ask him ALL your questions on the tour. Pro tip: book this tour at the start of your Boston trip. Christian gives you a wonderful big-picture overview of the city and its history, and by the end of the day you'll have a clear sense of which neighborhoods and sites you want to return to and explore more deeply. We changed up our itinerary after the tour based on the new information we gained.

Christian was a wonderful tour guide and was always looking out for the wellbeing of us and others. We have been in the Boston area many times over the years, including our honeymoon almost 30 years ago. He was able to share facts that we did not know and we were able to take some great photos. It was a wonderful day, almost like hanging out like hanging out with a friend, and well worth it. Otherwise, we would have had to sit at the airport all day, waiting to fly home after a cruise. We look forward to possibly hiring him again in the future.
