Full Day Tour from Boston to Lexington and Concord

This is a 5 hour driving tour that will focus on the story of how the American Revolution began. In April of 1775 the American Revolution began here in New England when the local population took up arms and fought with the powerful British Army. Starting in Boston this tour will cover the events that led up to that pivotal moment. The tour will highlight the early culture of New England that sowed the seeds of independence, the significance of the French and Indian War as a precursor to the American Revolution, the tax revolts that led to imposition of martial law and the arrival of the British Army and the legendary midnight ride of Paul Revere. After beginning in Boston, the tour will follow the path of Paul Revere to the the town of Lexington where the first shots of the war were fired and then on to Concord where the colonists fired the "Shot Heard Round the World" and altered the course of history.
