.Welcome to Boston! I’m a born-and-raised Bostonian with 40 years of guiding experience, and I genuinely enjoy showing off my hometown. Whether this is your first visit or your fifth, I’ll help you explore Boston in a way that’s fun, informative, and tailored to your interests. Before guiding full-time, I spent many years as a middle school teacher while touring on weekends and summers, so I know how to keep things engaging for all ages. My tours strike a balance between history, stories, architecture, hidden gems, and just the right amount of trivia. You’ll walk away knowing more about Boston, but you’ll also laugh, take some great photos, and have a good time along the way. My philosophy is that tours should always be fun, never boring! I welcome everyone: solo travelers, families, and corporate groups. Each tour is designed around your pace and priorities. Want more history? Great. Prefer local spots and scenic views? We can do that too. Want less walking, no problem. I offer walking tours, driving tours, or a mix of both, whatever works best for your group. Every tour can be customized. In addition to being a licensed guide to transport passengers, I’ve worked as an operations manager for a major sightseeing company as well as a hotel concierge. If you need restaurant tips, help planning your day, or ideas for things to do beyond the tour, I’m happy to help. A few more things about me: - City of Boston licensed guide since 1985 with a CDL and a Boston Sightseeing License to legally transport passengers - Member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Boston Tour Guide Association and Head of Communications - Hold two master’s degrees in education - Lead guide for a private Boston sightseeing tours company - Former operations manager at a large Boston tour company - Lifelong Boston sports fan! I am happy to show you where the championships happen Let’s make your time in Boston memorable for all the right reasons. Whether you have a few hours or a full day, I’ll show you the best of this incredible city.

In this all-walking tour we will cover the majority of the Freedom Trail & other historical sites and places of interest. This tour will fill your quota of 10000 daily steps! We will get up close to the Freedom Trail sites, as well as have the opportunity to go inside some of them. See historic burial grounds where Paul Revere, John Hancock, and Sam Adams are buried. Go inside the Old North Church. Sit in unusual pews that are the oldest in the city. This is a fun way to explore the most historic parts of Boston! There will be additional things to show you & some interesting stories along the way. It's a lot of ground to cover in 3 hours but we can do it! If you want to add one hour to the tour to see the USS Constitution up close & Bunker Hill if time allows, we can do that too!

Neal was a wonderful tour guide. Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He not only covered the Freedom Trail but he showed me a lot about other parts of Boston. Well worth it!
Neal was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable and engaging, and he made it easy for both the adults and the kids to learn and understand. He really took the time to share unique information and answer questions.
This was a great tour. Neal kept our family of 4, including 2 teens, engaged throughout the tour. At the end, we came away with a better feel for the city and its history. Time well spent!
The Freedom Trail tour was fantastic. Stopping for cannolis in a local shop was my favorite part, and I learned so many new facts about American history in the context of the city and the events happening around it. Our guide was exciting, engaging, and friendly, and made the whole experience come to life. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting!
Neal was a great tour guide! He kept us moving and was so informative and funny. He was easy to hear and answered all of our silly questions. There’s so much history in Boston and Neal did a great job sharing it with us.
