Hi! My name is Christian and I have been a tour guide here in Boston for more then 20 years. I first came to Boston as a college student where I studied History and Secondary Education at Boston College, one of the dozens of great universities in the Boston area. The first time I led tours was shortly after I graduated college and the job has become a passion of mine ever since. Showing visitors this amazing city is a true honor. Boston has so much to offer, from arts, to culture to architecture. And then of course there is the history! It would be difficult to find a city in America as rich in history as Boston. The true charm of Boston is the fact every where you turn history is staring you in the face. I love the words of William Faulkner, "The past is never dead. It's not even past. " That couldn't be more true than here in Boston. If you were to join me on one of my tours, you could expect to learn stories and see things that even the most experienced visitors to Boston would find new and amazing. I relish the opportunity to add fresh perspective and new insight to all those who take my tour. Attention to detail and client satisfaction are truly what make tours successful and memorable. I have an easy going personality and really enjoy making each tour unique and suited to the particular interests of the client. Whether it be history, shopping, pub crawling, pop culture, food or sports, you just let me know and I will use my vast tour guide experience to show you something new. Giving tours is like traveling the world without ever leaving home, and as much as I love my city and showing people it's amazing sights, the real joy of my job is making new friends. Overview of your Boston tour

This 6 hour tour will travel from Boston down the the coast to "America's Hometown" of Plymouth where the Pilgrims landed in 1620. With stunning coastal scenery this tour will explore the towns of Quincy, Hingham, Cohasset, Scituate and Plymouth to visit the spot where the Pilgrims landed and New England was first settled. Known for its beautiful scenery and picturesque harbors, the South Shore of Massachusetts is home to some of the most beautiful towns in New England including Hingham, MA home to the Old Ship Church. These quaint New England towns will take your breath away. This tour is a refreshing chance to see the shore line and learn the history of how a small group of devoted Pilgrims established themselves in the new world. Bring a camera and prepare for an adventure as the tour travels back more than 400 years into history.

Our guide was punctual and interested in what we wanted to tour and learn about. As my husband and I are both Mayflower descendants, we were interested in having an in-depth tour of a couple of the graveyards. At each tour stop, he explained the history and significance as well as what we further wished to see and do that weren't part of his original tour. He was adaptable as new tour opportunities arose. Christian even called a week ahead in order to make sure we were all "on the same page" for the tour. I would be happy to book future tours with him. His minivan was very comfortable and he is a good driver.

This was the second tour we’ve take with Christian! Like the first, this one did not disappoint! Christian was very punctual, informative, friendly, knowledgeable, and provided timely communication. He easily answered our many questions and even included a few bonus stops along the way. Based on our interests, he recommended several other locations for us to visit on our last day in Boston. Christian was a wonderful guide. He was fun and personable and patiently answered all of our random questions about the history of the area. He even helped us on a little side quest that wasn’t on the agenda. Overall he was very communicative and responsive on the days leading up the tour. On the day of our tour he was prompt and professional.
