• tour start: the heart of the World Heritage Site: the waterfront with the iconic Three Graces • quick photostop at the famous statue of the Beatles • walk through the Royal Albert Dock • pass through the tastefully designed Liverpool One shopping centre and through the city centre's oldest building to reach the Cultural Quarter • walk gently uphill to the Catholic and Anglican Cathedrals, linked by the appropriately named Hope Street • guided tour of the Anglican Cathedral • return to Liverpool's shopping and restaurant area via China Town and the city's old rope walks This tour can be adapted to fit your preferences e. g. to finish in the Beatles Quarter at the Cavern Club.
