John, Paul, George, Ringo (and Pete!) Come and explore Liverpool on a full-day tour, which will give you a flavour of Liverpool in the Beatles years. See the neighbourhoods where the Fab 4 grew up, take a trip along Penny Lane and visit Strawberry Field to see the iconic red gates of the children's home behind John's Aunt Mimi's house. Imagine how John used to climb over the fence to play with the children on the other side! Visit the Casbah Coffee Club - the "holy grail of the Beatles trail" - where it all began. Then return to the city centre to see central locations associated with the Beatles and soak up the atmosphere of Liverpool today.
4 friends came to Liverpool on a cruise and wanted a private tour of the city and the Fab 4 landmarks. We were not disappointed with our guide Tess and our driver John. Rich of knowledge and interesting facts, we were taken to all the right places plus some. A perfect day in Liverpool with a wonderful guide I would highly recommend.

What a day! What history! What a beautiful city! This site doesn't leave much more space to praise Tess - but needless to say, this was one of the best tours I have ever had in all my travels - and that is due to this wonderful, kind, insightful. and talented guide. A must for a trip to Liverpool!

* meet Tess in the cruise liner terminal or other city centre location * travel out to the suburbs to the south of the city to drive along Penny Lane, see the outsides of John and Paul's childhood homes and Strawberry Field * visit the Casbah Coffee Club (separate charge of £20 per person) * return to Liverpool City Centre * the focus will be on the Beatles but also introduce you to the highlights of the city. Amongst other things, you will: - walk along Mathew Street, home to the famous Cavern Club where the Beatles played almost 300 times - have the opportunity to visit the Beatles Story (separate charge: £19) - see Liverpool Anglican Cathedral where Paul was turned down to sing as a Choir Boy! (Admission is free, but donations to the Cathedral are welcome)
