Liverpool - 3 hour driving tour

I look forward to taking you on a drive around Liverpool, peeling away the layers of history, from its early days as a safe haven for seafarers trading across the oceans to the city which has reinvented itself in the shadow of the famous Liver Birds that stand guard over the World Heritage Site. I'd like to share my passion for the city with you. Having been born and bred in the buzzing metropolis of London, I appreciate the vibrancy of a big city, but what I want to share particularly with you is the green spaces, the tranquillity, and the atmosphere of normal people going about their everyday lives outside the boundaries of the city centre. My tour will introduce you not just to Liverpool's stunning world-class architecture but to characters who have either helped to shape the city or been influenced by it: those born in the area such as the Beatles, but also people who have come from all over the world to the city described by Swiss psychologist Carl Jung as "The Pool of Life".
