Hi, Iâm Marc, Liverpool born and bred and a professional guide for over 15 years. In that time, Iâve welcomed thousands of guests from all over the world, but Iâve never wanted my tours to feel like just another sightseeing trip. This half day tour will take you on a journey through the storied city of Liverpool. It includes an insight into Liverpool's history and it's rich maritime, sporting and cultural heritage. We will also go back in time and see the root of Liverpool's musical impact on the world via The Beatles. We will take in Liverpool's breathtaking waterfront which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral is next on the stop. Before we head to Beatles country in the south of Liverpool where we discover where the fab 4 grew up. We will also make a stop at Liverpool's cultural quarter. If you book with me I guarantee that your time in Liverpool will be a time you will never forget! A group of 6 us from the US and Canada, had a wonderful experience with Mark on our tour of Liverpool. He's professional, knowledgeable, and personable. We loved all the sites and stories that he referenced. We came away understanding abundantly more about Liverpool and it's architecture and history than we expected.
This tour was wonderful, lots of fun, interesting places to visit, we got to see and do so much, I highly the tour with visiting Liverpool. We went to all the places listed and more do to it only being the 2 of us. I would definingly do this again.

I reached out to Marc with a slightly different request than a typical Liverpool tour. Instead of a standard itinerary, I asked if he could incorporate some ancestry stops, as my mother is originally from Liverpool. I shared a few family addresses and the cemetery where my ancestors are buried, and Marc thoughtfully built the day around these meaningful locations. One of the most memorable moments was at the cemetery. We were having difficulty locating my five-year-old uncleâs grave, but Marc didnât give up. When he finally found itâfallen over and neglectedâhe gently lifted the headstone and restored it to its proper place. That moment meant more to me than I can express. Marc truly went above and beyond to make the day special. Heâs incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. Thanks to him, this was not only the highlight of my time in Liverpool, but the best day of my entire 10-day trip to England. I canât recommend Marc highly enough and already look forward to returning and touring with him again.
I like to keep my tours quite flexible within the given time slot. Rather than giving a rigid time schedule I have listed the places we visit on the tour and I can adjust timings spent in each place to suit your needs on the day. If there are any parts of the tour you would like to skip just let me know and I can arrange more time in another place.
