Chester day trip!

On this full day tour we will discover the Roman city of Chester, one of the most historical cities in all of England! We will take a walk along Chester's Roman walls that surround the city. The walls are the longest, oldest and most complete Roman walls in Britain, parts of which are almost 2000 years old! Along the walled route we will take in many of Chester's historical sites including the oldest horse racing course in the world! We will also discover the remains of a Roman amphitheatre, Roman baths, Chester's cathedral and much much more! Aside from its astonishing history Chester is also a beautiful place to spend the day shopping, eating or just strolling around its beautiful streets and river bank. All of which we will see and do! I like to keep my tours quite flexible within the given time slot. Rather than giving a rigid time schedule I have listed the places we visit on the tour and I can adjust timings spent in each place to suit your needs on the day. If there are any parts of the tour you would like to skip just let me know and I can arrange more time in another place.
