Chester and Liverpool shore excursion!

On this full day tour we will take in two of the most historical cities in all of England. We start in the port of Liverpool where we will learn all about the city's rich maritime and cultural heritage. We will then take the short drive to the walled city of Chester where will discover the remains of the Roman Empire! While in Liverpool we will take in all of the sites including it's stunning waterfront and magnificent architecture. We will also take a walk inside Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral, the 5th largest Cathedral in the world. When we get to Chester we will take a walk along its Roman walls that surround the city. The walls are the longest, oldest and most complete Roman walls in Britain, parts of which are almost 2000 years old! We will also take in the Roman amphitheatre and Chester's famous Eastgate clock! I like to keep my tours quite flexible within the given time slot. Rather than giving a rigid time schedule I have listed the places we visit on the tour and I can adjust timings spent in each place to suit your needs on the day. If there are any parts of the tour you would like to skip just let me know and I can arrange more time in another place. With the tour being a full day tour I shall arrange lunch but we shall discuss this when you enquire. There is also walking required with this tour but the activity level is not too high.
