Mandatory Information: I am a licensed local tour guide based in Kusadasi, Turkiye (TUREB & ATRO license number: 012062). I provide fully legal and insured tour services through my official partner agency, Castle Travel, which is a member of TURSAB (Turkiye Travel Agencies Association) with license number 3449. Hi Dear Friends, It’s always a pleasure for me to meet amazing people from all around the world. I live in a small town called Kuşadası, located on the beautiful Aegean coast of Turkey. I love learning about history, exploring new places, and discovering different cultures. One of the things that makes my life exciting is meeting people from different countries and sharing the beauty of my homeland. I enjoy taking visitors to incredible historical and cultural sites like Ephesus, Hierapolis, Pergamon, and Priene. At the same time, I love introducing Turkish culture and traditions to my guests. Turkey is a unique place where Asia and Europe meet, and it holds thousands of years of history. Walking through the ancient streets of Ephesus feels like traveling back in time to the glorious Hellenistic and Roman periods. If you enjoy history and culture, Turkey is waiting for you! I would be happy to guide you through these wonderful places and create a personalized experience just for you. Looking forward to meeting you soon! 😊 Best wishes, Vedat

I would like to acquaint you with my city, sharing its rich historical background, the vibrant local life, and its modern face. I have been living in Kusadasi for 30 years, witnessing its transformation from a village into a thriving city. Throughout its existence, the city's culture underwent significant changes as it skillfully blended Western and Eastern influences. Today although most of the historical structures that carry history to the present are overshadowed by modern buildings, many artifacts continue to wait for you, the history explorers; patiently holding on to life to share their stories with you at a point of a street or in the middle of a square. While immersing ourselves in the city's old ambiance, we can also indulge in local culinary delights, including pastries, grilled sheep's intestines, and a variety of dried fruits and nuts. If you are a first-time visitor to this city, it's a wonderful experience to immerse yourself in the local culture by interacting with the locals.
- Gazi Begendi: Mostly preferred by the locals to spend leisure time with a nice view of the ocean and the city. - The statue of Ataturk, with its interesting story, is one of the gathering centers in the city. - The Kaleici Mosque, whose construction commenced in 1618 under the orders of Oguz Mehmed Pasha, offers insights into the historical background of the city. - The Caravanserai is another traditional structure dating back to the 17th century. - The symbol of Kusadasi city is called Pigeon Island. There is a castle on this small island and the city got its name from it. - Kadinlar Plaji (Ladies Beach). Although it is not a big beach, it is one of the most popular beaches in the city with its restaurants, cafes, and hotel facilities. - If you enjoy hiking, we can explore the Gipsy (Roman) Avenue nestled on the highest hill in the city. Please note this tour can be customized.
