I was born in San Sebastian, Basque Country, I'm a person who loves travelling and sharing my experiences with people. I have visited over 70 countries and guided travellers, friends and family for long time. After travelling around the world in my last big trip, during 14 months, I'm even more prepared to guide you along the Basque Country and surroundings. I am a private local Basque guide and have a long experience guiding people along the Basque Country, over 15 years, in areas specially around San Sebastian, Bilbao, Pamplona, Vitoria as well as the French-Basque Country and the famous Rioja Wine region. As well as I travel abroad often, I love to work showing my city and surroundings, guiding people to the best places, not only to the touristic ones, but to the off-the-track ones too. Always adding some of my little stories and anecdotes of each place making the journey more enjoyable and unique. Living in a place with a food-culture like us, it adds an extra value to my tours, being a member of a Gastronomy Club(famous sociedad gastronómica) in San Sebastian as I am. Pied de Port Is famous for being St. James Way's starting point, the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Have you heard about "El Camino? I'll tell you all about it. Bidarray and Espelette Charmy town of Bidarray, an off the track town in the countryside, sdrive along the famous Pass Du Roland to get to Espelette. Labourd style houses makes this town unique, as it's known for its dried red peppers hanging from their facades. Sounds funny? See it with your own eyes! Here we'll taste typical region products. Ainhoa The typical Basque village so far: a (jai-alai) handball court alongside the church, a cementery full of traditional disc-topped monuments, white and red houses. Sare My favourite town! Is a prehistoric site at the base of the first mountain in the Pyrenees mountain range. At the end, you'll tell me your favourite spot!
