Hola! I was born and raised in Madrid. My uncle, a cultured man, took me since I was 6 years old to galleries and museums in Madrid and towns around. I was astonished and marveled by all the artifacts and weird things I discovered at that age. Those feelings made me pick a History of Art Major when I entered University. Once I got the degree I began travelling a lot throughout the world as a Tour Manager. I loved that life, very dynamic and full of exciting experiences. Contacting other cultures is the real university of life. But, when I was around 30 years old, I began missing home, family and friends. And I had something else in mind too. I felt frustrated that not many foreigners knew Madrid and its treasures. That's not possible, I thought!I have to do something about it. My goal and proposal: after all my travelling experiences I would love to make you feel my hometown Madrid in a different perspective rather than the typical tour I myself have experienced in many places around the world. Of course, the highlights should be visited, that's why they are so popular and breathtaking but also, if you let me, I want to introduce you to the real daily life of madrileños(Madrid locals), how we think, how we socialize and, last but not least, what we eat and drink. Be my guest, dear traveler, come to my city. You won't regret it! Madrid Official Guide.Including the sourroundings: Toledo, Segovia and Avila National Heritage Official Guide(Royal Palaces)

This is one of my favorite trips: Just 70 minutes away from Madrid in our luxury Van, we can have the privilege to visit two authentic jewels, the UNESCO World Heritage listed cities. A perfect example of how Spain, its territory, became a crossroads for different cultures and civilizations. What to expect from Avila, city of St Teresa? Admire the old town with its stunning ancient walls. Outstanding one-of-a-kind Cathedral and its monumental treasures around the city, including a large number of Romanesque-style churches and Gothic palaces. You'll feel like a knight or a mystic nun from Middle Ages with me as your guide! Once in Segovia, we'll be overwhelmed with its symbol, the massive Roman aqueduct, and of course we won't miss the Gothic cathedral and fairy tale castle : "Alcazar" fortress-palace. We cannot forget to mention the experience of trying one of the best dishes of Spanish cuisine, a Segovia specialty, the sucking pig or "cochinillo". A full real taste of this two city jewels!
Pick up by private Van and head straight to Avila. During the trip I will talk about Santa Teresa de Jesus, a great mystic woman and the history of this powerful town. Our first stop, at a hilltop to admire the spectacular views outside the walled city of Avila. Then we wander through the medieval walls, the best preserved in the world, surrounding the old city, which houses a great part of its monumental treasures, including a fortified cathedral of the 12th century. Back in the Van, after 45 minutes ride, we are in Segovia. My suggestion is to walk from the Aqueduct, in a calm pace, to the Plaza Mayor and Cathedral. On the way, examples of architecture from the Romanesque to Baroque time. Afterwards we can follow our steps down to the "Alcazar", a medieval castle and Royal residence for centuries, a "must see" in my opinion. After satisfying our cultural interests, nothing better than trying the local cuisine. beans stew and Sucking pig. . yummy! for the sweet toothed, "ponche segoviano"
