Hello, my name is Fernando, I was born and raised in Madrid and I have always been passionate about history and art. That is why almost ten years ago I decided to become a guide, to be able to share my love for Madrid with the whole world. Cultural visits are my favorite to offer, but of course, I also love showing the gastronomic culture of my city to everyone. I am passionate about meeting people from all over the world and that is why I am always studying new languages. I also travel as much as I can to get to know other places and cultures. I look forward to helping you find the perfect experience during your stay in Madrid. If you have any questions or want to adapt my visits to your personal needs, do not hesitate to ask me. I love creating new experiences! - Certified official tour guide - Graduated Tour Guide by the Superior School of Tourism in Madrid - Certificate in Advanced English by Cambridge University I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

"I was built on water. My walls are made of fire" - The city's old moto will help us know a lot about the origin of Madrid. But so will do its streets, markets and main monuments. A walk from Puerta del Sol to the Royal Palace or Plaza Mayor, through Madrid's historic center—often referred to as the "Madrid of the Habsburgs"—is a must-do for any visitor during their first days in the city. With my background in History and Art, I'll help you uncover the hidden gems of this fascinating area. The Royal Palace of Madrid stands as the largest royal residence in Western Europe and one of the grandest in the world. It boasts an incredible cultural and artistic heritage, including the renowned collection of Stradivarius Palatinos musical instruments, as well as significant holdings in painting, sculpture, and tapestries.

Our walking tour of Madrid with Fernando was a 5-star experience. He was on time and from the start made the day unforgettable. Beginning at Plaza de Isabel II, we explored the city center while learning how the royal family shaped Madrid—even leveling hills to build their city. Fernando kept our two boys (9 and 12) completely engaged, adding humor to his stories and teaching us traditions like eating 12 grapes in the square on New Year’s Eve. He even took us into a building with the Tooth Mouse sculpture and drawings—the Spanish version of the Tooth Fairy! We also visited a local church with a beautiful El Greco painting before ending inside the Royal Palace, where Fernando brought every room to life with passion and detail. He made history exciting, fun, and memorable for our whole family. If in Madrid, highly recommend—whether with kids or adults!
Excellent tour of the Old Town, plazas, and the Royal Palace! Fernando was very knowledgeable and gave us the exact information we needed based on our interests. Thank you Fernando!
Fernando was an excellent guide. It was like seeing Madrid with an old very knowledgeable friend. He made all of the attractions come to life, and we would recommend Fernando to anyone who wants a private tour of Madrid.
What a day! We had a fantastic tour of the city with Fernando. He is such a delightful, knowledgeable guide! He didn't overwhelm us with dates but explained the importance/historical significance of sites with insight and emotion. We definitely recommend this tour to learn a bit about the history of Madrid. The Royal Palace was stunning! Do not miss it!
