Hello from Madrid!I am a true "madrileña", born and raised in the city, I have always moved around. Since I was a child I felt a great interest in art and history and it never left me, that's why I decided to get my degree in Art History. I have been a guide for more than 15 years and today, I like my work more than ever. I feel lucky of having the opportunity of meeting people from all over the world. I always felt impressed by the great museums of Madrid, I'm currently engaged in a PhD in contemporary art, and every time I go to the Reina Sofia Museum I felt overwhelmed by the "Guernika" painting. I also love to discover special places in my city. I can tell you anecdotes, legends and interesting details about every corner in Madrid. An do not forget ot ask me about gastronomy - it is also one of my main interests, so the Tapas Tour is one of my favourites! I must tell you that I am not a fan of very touristy places, I want to offer you a more authentic vision of the city. And, if you are interested in visiting Toledo, I can show you the Imperial city at sunset, when all the tourists have gone and it recovers its magical atmosphere. Overview of your Madrid tour
We can meet at 10 am for the first contact with the Historic Madrid. This fascinating city has an important history since Middle Ages. This tour, walking through the most monumental axis of the city, will give you the opportunity to learn about the past and the present, about history and gastronomy, and to discover the highlights of the city. We will have a coffee at the most impressive roof terrace in Madrid and we will enter in some traditional shops, as many ancient shops in the city center remain almost unchanged. An entertaining tour to get a general overview of Madrid. Around 1 pm, we can go for a Tapas tour to discover some picturesque places and to enjoy the best of our gastronomy and wines! In the afternoon, you can choose between two options: a 2-hour guided tour to the Prado Museum or we can continue with our walking tour around some historical parts of the city.

Natalia was an excellent guide. She showed us a lot of Madrid in the one day tour. We visited the Plaza Mayor, Austrias area, the Royal Palace, Parque del Retiro, and the Prado Museum along with great churros with chocolate and tapas!!! Also Natalia has an excellent knowledge of art and was able to really explain the key aspects of Madrid, specially many of the great paintings in el Prado Museum.
