Hello, my name is Fernando, I was born and raised in Madrid and I have always been passionate about history and art. That is why almost ten years ago I decided to become a guide, to be able to share my love for Madrid with the whole world. Cultural visits are my favorite to offer, but of course, I also love showing the gastronomic culture of my city to everyone. I am passionate about meeting people from all over the world and that is why I am always studying new languages. I also travel as much as I can to get to know other places and cultures. I look forward to helping you find the perfect experience during your stay in Madrid. If you have any questions or want to adapt my visits to your personal needs, do not hesitate to ask me. I love creating new experiences! - Certified official tour guide - Graduated Tour Guide by the Superior School of Tourism in Madrid - Certificate in Advanced English by Cambridge University I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

The Prado Museum, described by art historian and Hispanist Jonathan Brown as “undoubtedly the most significant museum in the world for European painting,” is home to masterpieces by some of Europe's most renowned artists throughout history. Among the collection are works by Goya, Rubens, Titian, Van der Weyden, Bosch, Fra Angelico, and the master of Baroque art, Velázquez. The Royal Palace of Madrid, covering 135,000 m² and featuring 3,418 rooms—almost twice the size of Buckingham Palace or the Palace of Versailles—is the largest royal residence in Western Europe and one of the largest in the world. It holds an extraordinary historical and artistic collection, including the famous Stradivarius Palatinos musical instruments, along with exceptional works of art in painting, sculpture, and tapestries. Allow me to guide you through Spain’s rich history by exploring the royal collections that have been treasured by its monarchs for centuries.
We will meet at your hotel and use a private vehicle to go to the first of the monuments. The itinerary will be as follows: - Pick-up at your hotel and private transportation to Prado Museum - Prado Museum (2hrs visit) - Transportation to the Royal Palace and 1, 5hrs visit inside the palace. - Transportation back to your hotel The order of visits can change depending on tickets availability. Please note this tour can be customized. Use the 'message guide' button to contact me for a customized tour.

I work with a specific agency that will supply the taxis. The agency works with high-end hotels in the city so are well-known for their quality. The make and model of the vehicles will vary, but they will always be air-conditioned and modern. Local legislation ensures that drivers must upgrade their vehicles on a regular basis.
