Let me introduce myself. My name is Susana and I've been guiding in Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, and Avila for over twenty years now as a full-time activity, and. . . . here I am, still on stage. I am happy to say that I have done over 500 tours only with ToursByLocals during the last 9 years. This hasn't been my only job ever, I have been teaching languages since. . . always, as this is the family business, and I got to know the tourism industry since I was very young as it was my early passion. Hotels, airlines, tour director. . . All these experiences have made me a very versatile person, which helps a lot with my actual activity. Overview of your Madrid tour
Make a choice of your favorite museum if it is not listed, and ask me about it. It could be the Royal Palace, or the Museum of Contemporary Art, Reina Sofía, just Thyssen-Bornemisza, or . . . you might want to go more for the history side and go to the National Archaeological Museum or the Museum of the History of Madrid. If I haven't mentioned your choice, let me know and we might as well do it, it could be Museo Cerralbo, Fundación Lázaro Galdiano, or Museo Sorolla My offer for this tour is a two hours long visit to the main highlights of these collections, in case you would like to stay longer let me know. We'll get it organized!! If there is a large party inform me before booking, and please, in any case, DON'T buy museum tickets before asking me. Each museum has a different policy for guided tours and special tickets are needed.

If we're visiting a museum, the meeting point will be INSIDE the museum, after tickets and security control, at a specified place Some museums have closing days, so the date will be discussed depending on date. As a tip, most museums close on Monday except for Reina Sofia (Tuesdays), Prado and Royal Palace (closes at random as it is a government building)
