Madrid Day Trip: Segovia Top Monuments Private Experience

Just one hour away from Madrid, join me and visit and authentic treasure. A perfect example of how Spain, its territory, became a crossroads for many cultures and civilizations. I still remember how excited I was once a year School was taking us as children in a day trip; I am sure you'll feel the same way. After picking you up we head north of Madrid crossing the Mountain Range "Guadarrama". After only 1 hour driving we reach Segovia. Our Van lead us through a scenic road in a kind of sightseeing. Photo lovers will love it! We will walk some stretches of the city walks to reach the magnificent Alcazar, a medieval castle and Royal residence for centuries, a "must see". Afterwards we can follow our steps down and admire examples of architecture from the Romanesque to Baroque. Different neighborhoods will be visited during our walk with its own personality: the Clergy quarter, the Jewish quarter. You will think you are back to the Middle Ages. Cathedral is our next stop, a symbol of catholic power and last but not least, the proud of Roman engineering, The Aqueduct. After satisfying our cultural interests, nothing better than trying the local cuisine. Segovia is famous for its dishes which won't disappoint you. And sure, there will be time if you are a fond of shopping, to pick some handicrafts.
