Hola! This is Jaime. I was born in Madrid and I studied Art History Degree at the university. Also I'm ICOM member. I have been showing my city to visitors since 2007. I know all the secrets and corners of the city. Come with me to know the best places and the beautiful palaces, museums and monuments. I will show you places that many locals do not know. I dedicate my life to tourism and cultural trips. I am a passionate person of my city and I enjoy teaching it to people who want to know. I have been lucky enough to be able to travel around the world and I like that people in my tours feel comfortable and not as a tourist, that is hospitality. If you decide to select me as your guide, you can rest assured that you are with a professional, mature and sincere person. I am serious and fun when I have to be, but for me the most important thing for me is that you enjoy your time and your vacations in my city. You can trust me for everything you need. I am a young and modern person. I love being able to show my city to people who do not know it and I enjoy teaching the lesser known places of Madrid that even many locals do not know. I am passionate about art, culture, travel and architecture. I like to read, animals and watch movies. I am an open-minded, gay-friendly person and one you can trust. Besides discovering with me many places, anecdotes and interesting facts, I will inform you about places where you can eat, have fun, dance . . . I present to you why Madrid is so special. Titian, Caravaggio, El Greco, Bernini! Carriages, ivories, bronzes, fountains, sculptures, antiques, tapestries... the collection is impressive. This tour will show you The Gallery of the Royal Collections in Madrid is an awe-inspiring cultural treasure. Housed in a striking modern building seamlessly integrated into the Royal Palace complex, it offers a breathtaking journey through Spain’s artistic and historical legacy.

Your Madrid tour itinerary

We will meet outside the museum, near the Royal Palace, and take a brief look at the history of what is known as the Royal District of Madrid. The building is monumental and elegant. The museum is divided into two parts: the Habsburgs and the Bourbons, the two dynasties that ruled Spain for centuries. -In the first gallery, we will see how the Central European Habsburg dynasty arrived in the Kingdom of Spain and understand how Spain became an empire that dominated the world during its Golden Age. -We will discover works by masters such as Bernini, Titian, Velázquez, Caravaggio and the paintress Lavinia Fontana, and an incredible collection of jewelry, carriages, books, and tapestries. -Afterward, we will go down to the second gallery. It is dedicated to the Bourbons, who arrived in Spain in the 18th century. We will see works by Goya and Mengs, as well as ivory carvings, marble sculptures, musical instruments, and Chinese porcelain. Then you can stay at the museum freely if you still have time or energy.
