Hi Everyone! My name is Adam, I'm originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina but now I can identify as a citizen of the world. At age 22, I decided to move to Ireland for an experience abroad and ended up staying for two years. This is where I met my wife, Luciana, with whom I moved back to Argentina first, then a year to Australia, and then back to Ireland for 3 more years. Now we have been in Madrid since January 2020 with no further plans to relocate! Our family grew with the arrival of our Madrileño son, and we are delighted with the city. Thanks to this small 'nomad' life in the last 10 years I've got the chance to do tours in different places around the world. I have a tourism degree and my first job was as a travel agent in Buenos Aires. In my first year in Dublin (2011) I started as a Tour Guide and I fell in love with the profession. I continued guiding in Buenos Aires, then I worked in the tourist information office in Sydney, Australia, and back guiding in Ireland. Since I came to Madrid I have worked as an information officer and a tour guide as well. My favorite tour is the Historic Madrid Tour where we will see the biggest Royal Palace in Western Europe, an Arabic wall of more than 1000 years, medieval alleys, and the great Plaza Mayor among other great sights of the city. I have different pre-set tours but I'm always keen to be open to suggestions or changes depending on your desire. If you are interested in a particular theme or period I can focus the tours on whatever you are looking for in Madrid. My set tours are on a walking basis but if you need private transportation we can arrange that as well. Tourism Degree from La Suisse CEPEC School (Argentina). Worked as a Travel Agent and tour Guide in Buenos Aires. Worked as a Tour Guide in Dublin. Worked as a Tourist Information Officer in Sydney, Australia & Madrid, Spain. Official Tour Guide License by the Government Aragon, Spain. This grants me access and the availability to guide inside the Royal Palace, Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum, and other museums and tourist attractions in the city of Madrid. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

I'll start us out with a historical introduction to both Spain's and Madrid's history, in the unofficial city center of Madrid (Puerta del Sol) where hundreds of locals and tourists pass by every day. I'll tell you about major events that took place during the 1600s and 1700s, such as the bullfights and Autos de Fé (inquisition trials), as well as a popular market that offers tapas, our traditional Spanish and madrilenian dishes.. Further in our tour, we'll marvel at the beautiful Royal Palace, the biggest of its kind in Europe, as well as at Madrid's Opera House. We'll also enjoy one of the greatest views of Madrid and its surroundings, including the mountains to the north of the city, from a special place over a thousand years old: the walls of Madrid, which were built by the Moorish people to protect themselves from the attacks of the Christians. The following itinerary could be customized upon request.
-We'll start at Puerta del Sol, where we'll see the emblem of the city, the Osa y el Madroño statue. -Then we'll arrive at Plaza Mayor, the city's main square. -Next, we'll pass over Plaza de Puerta Cerrada to learn about Madrid's beginnings. -We'll continue towards the oldest restaurant in the world, Sobrino de Botín. -We'll then learn about tapas in the famous San Miguel Market, where we'll be able to taste some. -Then we'll head to the narrow alleys of Madrid to see the old Corpus Christ church, inhabited by a group of nuns who sell their famous pastries for a living. -Plaza de la Villa is our next stop where we'll see the oldest buildings in town. -After that, we'll go to the walls of Madrid, its oldest construction. -Next, we'll see the famous Almudena Cathedral, the place of the last royal wedding in Madrid. -Then we'll see the Royal Palace of Madrid, the biggest one in Europe. -The last stop will be in Plaza de Oriente, with more views of the Royal Palace & the Teatro Real (Royal Theater).
