Alhambra and Generalife private tour, from a castle to a city

We took the Alhambra tour with our guide, Juan Antônio, and the experience was simply wonderful. The tour was relaxed, extremely informative, and despite covering so much historical content, it never felt tiring or dull — quite the opposite, time flew by because it was so engaging. Nono was incredibly attentive from start to finish, from our first questions before the tour all the way to the end, always patient and willing to explain every detail. A huge plus was that the tour was conducted in Portuguese, which made everything even easier to follow and made the whole experience even more special. I recommend him without any hesitation to anyone visiting the Alhambra. It’s absolutely worth it!

Juan Antonio is a wonderful guide. Before I even arrived in Spain he provided very clear instructions on tickets and meeting. The Alhambra can be very confusing and he made it simple for the first-timer! The tour itself was great! He is a wealth of knowledge on the history. He answered all my many questions and he has a very objective view of the history. He is also just a really nice guy, easy to talk to and relaxed. He gave me excellent tips for the rest of my time in Granada and told me the best way to get back to the train station.

Juan Antonio is wonderful! He gave my husband and me an excellent tour of The Alhambra; he’s very knowledgeable about its history and restoration, and he approaches the tour as a conversation with you. We were interested in the gardens and he had lots of information to share. He also gave us great information and recommendations for Granada overall, including 2 terrific restaurants. I would recommend Juan Antonio to anyone going to Granada and The Alahambra.

We had a wonderful private tour of Alhambra with Juan Antonio. He was very informative and kind and offered tremendous history and background to all parts of the tour. He is fluent in English and extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a private tour. We had an evening tour from 1700-2000 and found that to be a perfect time for a visit.
