Hi, my name is Gemma! Born in a small town in the Pyrenees. I came to Girona in order to study at the university. And do you know what happened? I fell in love with Girona! Girona means a lot to me: half of my life. I’ve lived here for 25 years and I hope there are many more! At the University of Girona, I graduated in Tourism. I’ve traveled to many countries and lived in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Germany. I first worked as an accompanying guide for Catalonia, Spain, France, Switzerland, and Germany. Then, little by little, I devoted myself to becoming a local guide. To be true, guiding used to be a hobby for me. And now it's what I like to do the most. I am a tour guide specialized in Girona and its region. My goal is that my clients enjoy the experience to the fullest. 2 curiosities about me: I love coffee with milk! Why did I become a guide? When I was a child, I wanted to be a teacher. When I was young, I wanted to become an actress. And… I became the Official Tourist Guide of Catalonia. Overview of your Girona tour

With this tour you will discover some of the most beautiful medieval towns of Girona region which are non-touristy. These are the towns: Ullastret, Madremanya and Monells All them are small in size with special charm. Ullastret still preserves all the wall perimeter in great condition and the old market structure. Monells, the smallest town, offers nice streets with vaults and a unique piece in the main square. Madremanya, a medieval jewel that still has its mediaeval layout: three portals, a fortified church and paved streets. During my tours there is always time to take a coffee break :-) Exciting tour back to the Middle Ages. You will enjoy it!
