I am a Catalan guy that specializes in organizing tourist visits to the most beautiful sites around the Girona Province. I have a university degree in History, Art, and Geography. In this tour you will discover some of my favorites places in the Costa Brava. This tour is a very good option to see one of the most beautiful areas in the Costa Brava where the local tourism still go on holidays. S'agaró is the town where the tourism in the Costa Brava start in 1920. Walking around the coast line you will understand why the local people still love this place. Calella de Palafrugell and Tamariu are ancient fishing villages. This little towns are one of the few places on the Costa Brava which still preserves the charm of the villages of the area before the arrival of tourism in the 60's Sant Sebastià light house. This is the highest light house in the costa Brava with a watchtower and the remaining of an old Iberian village. The tour is a private tour a maximum of four people if you are more than four let me know and I will prepare a tour for you. The tour is very flexible if there is something that you want to change during the tour is also possible.
Miguel provided us with a great tour of Costa Brava. He also took us to a small winery and working farm where we not only experienced "life on the farm" but were treated to some fantastic wines. Interestingly there were no labels on the bottles. Very unique!

Great trip to the beautiful Costa Brava. Miquel conveniently met us at our unit. He spoke excellent English, was knowledgeable, informative, had a great sense of humour and love for his home town of Girona and the Costa Brava area. He was very personable which made for a great day out. Would definitely have booked him for another tour if we'd had the time.
Miquel was great. He is born and raised in Girona and his knowledge of the history of the city and whole area was wonderful. We ate lunch at an amazing local place, and he made our trip feel personal and local. He even customized the day for us so we could see Girona and Costa Brava. Would recommend him!
We will depart from Girona around 9am. After a 45-minute journey we will arrive at Sa Conca, where we will walk along the Mediterranean Sea in one of the most beautiful places from Costa Brava. This old and easy path follows all along the coast line from Sa Conca in Platja d'aro to the beach of S'agaró. It's a very easy walk with many picturesque points. Drive to palamós (20 min). Palamós: We will have lunch in a typical Catalan restaurant in Palamós. Drive to Calella de Palafurgell (20 min). Calella de Palafurgell: Calella is an old fisherman village famous for the "havaneres" (old fisherman songs) and its beach. Drive to the Sant Sebastià lighthouse (5 min) This is the highest lighthouse in Costa Brava with spectacular views from the Mediterranean Sea and the whole Girona area. Drive to Tamariu (5 min) Tamariu is a quiet and small bay with crystal clear water ideal for swimming. Back to Girona (45 minutes), finish the tour between 18. 00-19. 00
