Overview of your Girona tour
This a perfect tour if you are coming from Barcelona and you want to visit Girona and Besalú. Girona and Besalú are very well preserve medieval villages. In the morning we will visit the medieval village of Besalú, and we will have lunch at the Banyoles lake. After lunch, we will visit Girona where we will walk around the old city, where you will discover it's history and it's legends. If you are interested in the Catalan Jewish history this tour is perfect for you. Besalú and Girona have a very old Jewish quarters preserved. The tour is a private tour a maximum of four people if you are more than four let me know and I will prepare a tour for you. The tour is very flexible if there is something that you want to change during the tour is also possible.

We spent the day traveling around the cities of Girona and Besalu with Miquel. He was full of interesting information and answered all of our questions. He speaks fluent English and was easy to interact with. On the way to Besalu we stopped for lunch, and it was the best dining experience that we have had in Spain. Morning: After half an hour driving from Girona we will reach the medieval village of Besalú. Lunch at the Banyoles lake or any other local restaurant in the area Afternoon Guided tour around Girona where you will discover it's history, it's legends and the Catalan gastronomy. itinerary. Sant Pere de Galligans romanic church, Sant Feliu church and the Girona cathedral. (We will visit these churches from outside if you want to visit them let me know during the tour). The Archaeological gardens, The old walls and the Sant Domènec university. The jewish quarter and the Girona rambla. The Girona bridges and the Onyar river. The independencia square. Back to the Girona traint station between 18. 00-19. 00 The time is approximated, the tour is private and I will adjust at your own pace
