Hi, my name is Gemma! Born in a small town in the Pyrenees. I came to Girona in order to study at the university. And do you know what happened? I fell in love with Girona! Girona means a lot to me: half of my life. I’ve lived here for 25 years and I hope there are many more! At the University of Girona, I graduated in Tourism. I’ve traveled to many countries and lived in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Germany. I first worked as an accompanying guide for Catalonia, Spain, France, Switzerland, and Germany. Then, little by little, I devoted myself to becoming a local guide. To be true, guiding used to be a hobby for me. And now it's what I like to do the most. I am a tour guide specialized in Girona and its region. My goal is that my clients enjoy the experience to the fullest. 2 curiosities about me: I love coffee with milk! Why did I become a guide? When I was a child, I wanted to be a teacher. When I was young, I wanted to become an actress. And… I became the Official Tourist Guide of Catalonia. Please tell me if you have any special interests, and I will customize any tour for you. Have a nice day!

Uncover the secrets of one of the best-preserved Jewish quarters in Europe. Girona is “Mother City of Israel” and was a center of spirituality. Six centuries of Jewish community make up the history of the city. With this guided tour you will get to know where Jewish people lived, which activities they did, the location of the 3 medieval synagogues and much more. In Girona, the famous rabbi and kabbalist Nahmanides was born, known as Ramban. The Jewish tour includes the entrance to the Museum of Jewish History which contains: the most important collection of Hebrew tombstones of Spain and the last micvé of the Gironinian Jewish community. I am an expert guide in Jewish heritage (Rasgo Sefarad) and I love to share my knowledge with you!
