In this tour you will discover how the city of Girona was transformed into Bravos and King's landing. Walking in the medieval part of Girona you will visit all the locations from the Game of Thrones season six that were filmed in the old part of the city. We will walk in the city of Bravos where Aria Stark had a lot of adventures, the outdoor theater in Bravos, King's landing where Jaime Lannister had a showdown with the High Sparrow and the library attached to the Citadel where Sam was expecting to study. The tour is not only about the Game of Thrones show, we will visit all the main locations in Girona and it's famous Jewish quarter, one of the most well perserve in Europe from the medieval period. The tour is very flexible if there is something that you want to change during the tour is also possible. If you want to visit the Girona cathedral, let me know during the tour, and we can finish the tour there. To visit the cathedral calculate at least one hour.
We loved this tour despite being subjected to a heavy downpour for most of the tour. Miquel was a great guide. He lives in the area and is well versed in its history. He provided a good mix of Game of Thrones filming sites as well as Girona and Catalan history. We were staying in Barcelona and this day trip was well worth our time.
