This is Laura a fully licensed guide of Catalonia, born and bread here ;) When I was studying tourism I wasn't 100% sure of what or where it was going to take me; but with a love for history, art , languages and being a people person, becoming a tour guide was the most natural path for me to follow. When it comes to food I am in 'Heaven'. I love to travel, to explore and taste new places. When I am picking my next adventure, the culture and its food is always at the top of my list. I qualified with a Cultural Master's Degree at the University of Girona were I have also taught lessons on Tour Guiding to my peers. Catalonia is a big sporting region and I am lucky enough to be able to open water swim, ride on the Costa Brava and hike in the hills of Montserrat. Laura is, without a doubt, one of the best guides we’ve ever hired. She is very knowledgeable, articulate, considerate and just basically fun! On our first day with her, we enjoyed learning about Girona…its history, its culture and where to find the best food. The next day we went to the Dali Museum in Figueres with her and really delved into Dali’s life, his art and his marriage to his muse, Gala. If we are lucky to return to Girona in the future, Laura will be our first call!

Laura is a perfect guide! We learned a lot about the history and culture of Girona, Catalonia and Spain. She is super knowledgeable and friendly, a pleasure to spend a few hours with. Not only did we learn about the history of the region. we saw some great Game of Thrones sites. We had a wonderful time visiting Girona with Laura! She is clearly a master of the history and culture of Catalonia and artfully combined modern day culture with ancient history and more recent history. She used pictures and videos to highlight parts of the tour. Our 3 middle to late teenage kids loved her tour also! We would highly recommend booking any and all tours with Laura. (She was able to combine a guided tour through the market of Girona with a visit to the Jewish quarter and old town with food and modern stories about bikers who have made Girona a home!
