Hi, my name is Gemma! Born in a small town in the Pyrenees. I came to Girona in order to study at the university. And do you know what happened? I fell in love with Girona! Girona means a lot to me: half of my life. I’ve lived here for 25 years and I hope there are many more! At the University of Girona, I graduated in Tourism. I’ve traveled to many countries and lived in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Germany. I first worked as an accompanying guide for Catalonia, Spain, France, Switzerland, and Germany. Then, little by little, I devoted myself to becoming a local guide. To be true, guiding used to be a hobby for me. And now it's what I like to do the most. I am a tour guide specialized in Girona and its region. My goal is that my clients enjoy the experience to the fullest. 2 curiosities about me: I love coffee with milk! Why did I become a guide? When I was a child, I wanted to be a teacher. When I was young, I wanted to become an actress. And… I became the Official Tourist Guide of Catalonia.
