Hooola! This is Laura a fully licensed guide of Catalonia, born and bread here ;) When I was studying tourism I wasn't 100% sure of what or where it was going to take me; but with a love for history, art , languages and being a people person, becoming a tour guide was the most natural path for me to follow. Since qualifying in 2012, guiding has been not just my full time job, but my passion. I feel so grateful to be able to meet different people everyday and show all the secrets and history the fascinating city of Girona and its region has to offer. I am a foodie! When it comes to food I am in 'Heaven'. I love to travel, to explore and taste new places. When I am picking my next adventure, the culture and its food is always at the top of my list. So if too are a big culinary fan like me, then let me also show the delights of Catalan gastronomy. I qualified with a Cultural Master's Degree at the University of Girona were I have also taught lessons on Tour Guiding to my peers. Catalonia is a big sporting region and I am lucky enough to be able to open water swim, ride on the Costa Brava and hike in the hills of Montserrat. So come follow me on your next adventure and I will make sure it is an experience that you will never forget. Are you with me? - Licensed Tour guide number 2829 since 2012 - Tourism Degree at University of Girona - Cultural Master's Degree at University of Girona - Professor on the subject "Tour Guiding" at the University of Girona - Teacher at Barcelona Guide Bureau on Guide training for future licensed guides - Member of AGUICAT "Licensed Guides of Catalonia Association" - Member of AGG "Girona Guide's Association" I have no restrictions

Overview of your Girona tour

I am a Salvador Dalí fan and a Girona city lover! Make the most of your day by visiting the biggest, most surreal productions that the eccentric artist Salvador Dalí ever made, combined with a walking tour in the historical city of Girona. You will dive into the unique museum that the artist created during a 10 year period of his life. I will explain to you about his art, which was strongly related to his childhood, his relationships with his father, sister, wife & muse, Gala. His relationship with psychoanalysis, science and the classic masters, plus all of his fears. . . and much more. By the end of the tour you will understand what his aims were to call the attention of the world. In Girona, we will go back in time and discover the city's history, it's secrets hidden down medieval alleys, it's time as part of the Roman Empire and with the option to enter the beautiful Cathedral. Iconic parts of Girona including the Jewish quarter and if requested, some scenes from the 6th season of Game of Thrones.
