Miquel is a very knowledgeable guide. Due to the europian championship triatlon there was a roadblock but he directly came whith a solution to adapt the tour. I had a great day. Miquel is also very attentive and pleasant to be around.
This tour was such a highlight on our trip to Girona. Miquel was an amazing guide and took us to several spots which are not well known to tourists. We also went to lunch at a local restaurant before heading into the forest of the volcanic park. It was truly a magical day that we will never forget. Miquel was a great guide! We loved seeing the medieval towns, the lake, and the old volcanoes. We also loved the lunch at a local restaurant. It was a very rainy day, but we made the most of the day!

-Setting out from Girona we will head for Banyoles Lake where will have the chance to wander along the shore of Europe's unique lake. -Besalú a medieval village whose must-see attractions include: -The impressive Romanesque bridge -Medieval Quarter -Old Sinagogue -Main Town Square and the old city walls, all of which are worth exploring as you wander around. -Then we will travel on to Castellfollit de la Roca to gaze at one of the most widely photographed and painted sights in Catalonia. -In the afternoon we will walk around the Vulcano Croscat inside the Garrotxa National Park. The youngest and highest volcano in the Iberian Peninsula, with the last eruption dated back to about 14, 000 years Before Present. Santa Pau: -In the midst of the volcanic region of La Garrotxa lies Santa Pau. This small village is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved medieval villages around, which accounts for its popularity among tourists. Tour will finish in Girona between 18. 00-19.
