PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM ON MATERNITY LEAVE UNTIL MARCH 2ND. I AM ACCEPTING BOOKINGS BUT MAY BE SLOWER TO RESPOND!!! Come and join me for relaxed tours that maintain the Spanish pace and way of life. I am a local guide who speaks fluent Spanish and native English (albeit with a British accent!) and I'd love to share this part of the world with you, plus all the hidden spots that I have found since moving to Spain. I originally moved to Spain for 10 months. . . six years ago! Having spent this time exploring all sorts of secret places, nooks & crannies in Cadiz Province, I now truly love sharing them! I first began guiding visiting friends & family informally before the pandemic . . . then friends of friends . . . and then mutual friends' acquaintances. This means my tours are laid-back & relaxing. I want us to enjoy our time together and make the most out of your vacation not rushing around, ticking off a checklist. I run guides with three distinct focuses: walking and exploring the beautiful nature of Cadiz; sampling and eating as many tapas & sherry as possible (I have the ability to consume my body weight in them); and meandering through the history and culture of Spain. Whenever possible, I love to combine all three! I also offer Special Cruise Packages in order to allow you to make the most of your day in Cadiz when cruising around Spain. In this case I'd pick you up from the port and drop you back with plenty of time before the ship departs again, and we will discuss what you're most interested in seeing during your day here! As for transportation, I can accompany you in your vehicle or provide a comfortable van with 9 seats (myself and a business partner share driving). Finally, please feel free to drop me message about bespoke tours personally tailored to you and your party. I want to know what interests you and help you make the most of this beautiful part of the world. I am energetic, enthusiastic and have all the strange facts that your heart desires! I am experienced in smooth-running logistics so you can sit back and enjoy your tour! -Bachelors in Classics (Latin, Greek & Ancient History) - University of Bristol. -Operational Manager of a Ski Company 2015-2018 -Provided Bay of Cadiz Tours since 2018 -Fully qualified touristic driver with Spanish Licence with 9 years of experience. -One week minimum notice for tours involving hiking. -Two weeks minimum for tours involving transportation.

This is perfect way to get a taste of the beautiful, small city of Cadiz whilst on a shore excursion, but could also be arranged for evenings. Come with me to sample multiple local dishes eating your way around Cadiz! We'll spend 3 to 4 hours wandering around this ancient, magical city and trying the famous flavours as well as local secrets specialties. Of course, there will be some sherry & wine too! Not only will you eat like a local in the main food market, but depending on the catch of the day and the season you'd be visiting, there may be fresh oysters or even slabs of tuna! Get ready to be brave and indulge in some delicious meats which have been slow cooked in sherry for days or some rich, black rice! This experience will be crafted based on your preferences, so if you're feeling hungry. . . please send me a message for further detailing! I aim to include between 2-4 drinks and 6-8 tastings in every tour depending on personal taste & dietary requirements.
The tour is available from 11am to make the most of your long, leisurely Spanish lunch, or from 6:30 pm if you preferred an evening experience. -After gathering, we'd proceed to visit one of Cadiz's hidden gems to get either a coffee, a traditional hot chocolate or a cava (sparkling wine). -Next, we'd go to the food market for multiple tastings of olives, local cold tapas, preserved meats/fishes & cheese. -Afterwards, we'd taste famous flavours of Cadiz such shrimp tortillas, black rice & freshly caught squid, plus generous plates to share with options of freshly caught red tuna, slow cooked ox tail or sherry soaked carrillada. -Finally, a selection of local wines including sherries plus a post-lunch tipple in the sunshine to help you digest! Please note that this itinerary would require amendments if carried out on Spanish public holidays, Sundays or Mondays. Once you're full, I can take you back to your lodging for a much-needed siesta or we could also visit one the most beautiful towers in Cadiz.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
