Hi! My name is Adriane I am a high-energy, young, and fun individual. I was born to be a host and I am so excited to share my home with you. Not only do I live in an extremely culturally rich area but almost everywhere you go there is something new to see, and learn and delicious to taste. As an American born and raised here in the Cádiz province, I have developed a special relationship with the area. Growing up here, I have become enchanted with the Spanish culture, traditions, food, and people. This is why most of my experiences are created with a mix of Andalusian culture and gastronomy, which are blended exclusively for you the traveler, so that you may fall in love with the area just as I have. I believe with my unique knowledge of the local customs and culture, coupled with my American perspective, I will succeed in sharing my affection for the Spanish lifestyle and provide you with an excellent experience with flavorful delights through the amazing towns of Cádiz. I assure you a dynamic and fun experience incorporating the important landmarks, sights, amusing anecdotes, and tasty tapas, Cádiz is known for, as well as an entertaining and enjoyable time. I also love to explore, if you have a customized adventure in mind. Let me know and we can plan it together. I have a bachelor's degree in International Relations and a masters degree in Human Resources. I have been a cultural guide since 2017 in the fabulous province of Cadiz as well as an unofficial tapa and sherry wine taster. I love to do my experiences on foot. If you want to take a vehicle I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a car (taxi) upon your request. The fish markets in Spain are open from 9:00am to 2:00pm and closed on Sunday and Monday.

Overview of your Cadiz tour

Welcome to Cadiz, the oldest inhabited city in Spain. Not only is this city the Capital of the province but it is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the area. With its iconic historical monuments, delightful flourishing parks and dazzling views of the ocean, the city never seems to end when it comes to its scenic views. Cycling through Cadiz in my opinion is the best way to see the whole part of the old section of the city in a short time frame. The city is designed for bikes making it easy to circumnavigate the small isthmus through its lush green parks, beautiful courtyards and our ocean walkways. Travelers love how calm and undemanding the ride is as they glide around the old part of Cadiz and take in all of the different features, that the city has to offer. So come join me on this experience as we cycle and discover the old city of Cadiz though an overview of the history and visually absorb some of the main monuments, parks and beaches as we ride around the this phenomenal city.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on the Cadiz cycling tour with the vivacious and engaging Adriane. Cadiz, the oldest inhabited city in Spain, offers over 3,000 years of history—an extra 1,000 years compared with many other Spanish cities—making it key to understanding the history of Spain. Seeing the city by bike is a great way to explore the old town, gliding through lush parks, charming squares, and along beautiful ocean walkways. Adriane shared wonderful personal and cultural insights, bringing the city’s history and character vividly to life.

What a fun and informative tour! Adriane has enough enery and enthusiarm for two people, and knows everything about the city of Cadiz. She met us at our ship and we walked to the bike shop. There are bike paths around much of the city. We stopped to discuss the monuments and learned about the history of this, the first city in Spain. Adriane speaks perfect English as she's the daughter of Americans and went to the English schools on the Navy bases where her father was stationed. Don't miss the opportunity to take this bike trip the next time you're in Cadiz!

Adriane did a wonderful job showing us the city by bike. She communicated with us before the tour and met us at the bike shop. Spent a wonderful 2 hours touring the city. My husband and I hadn't been on a bike in years but that didn't make a difference in the experience. We booked a tapas tour to start right after this one with her and it made fore a great day.

Excellent tour of Cadiz. Adiane is a passionate American guide born in Cadiz. She has extensive knowledge of the city's history and will answer all your questions. We did the tour with our 3 boys. You will circulate mostly around the city along the sea as biking within the old town can we challenging. It gives you a fairly good overview of Cadiz. We recommend spending after the tour 1/2 hours within the old town itself. Highly recommended
