Hi! My name is Adriane I am a high-energy, young, and fun individual. I was born to be a host and I am so excited to share my home with you. Not only do I live in an extremely culturally rich area but almost everywhere you go there is something new to see, and learn and delicious to taste. As an American born and raised here in the Cádiz province, I have developed a special relationship with the area. Growing up here, I have become enchanted with the Spanish culture, traditions, food, and people. This is why most of my experiences are created with a mix of Andalusian culture and gastronomy, which are blended exclusively for you the traveler, so that you may fall in love with the area just as I have. I believe with my unique knowledge of the local customs and culture, coupled with my American perspective, I will succeed in sharing my affection for the Spanish lifestyle and provide you with an excellent experience with flavorful delights through the amazing towns of Cádiz. I assure you a dynamic and fun experience incorporating the important landmarks, sights, amusing anecdotes, and tasty tapas, Cádiz is known for, as well as an entertaining and enjoyable time. I also love to explore, if you have a customized adventure in mind. Let me know and we can plan it together. I have a bachelor's degree in International Relations and a masters degree in Human Resources. I have been a cultural guide since 2017 in the fabulous province of Cadiz as well as an unofficial tapa and sherry wine taster. I love to do my experiences on foot. If you want to take a vehicle I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a car (taxi) upon your request. The fish markets in Spain are open from 9:00am to 2:00pm and closed on Sunday and Monday.

Our group (5) had a fantastic tour of Jerez with Adriane. Her enthusiasm and knowledge made the tour very interesting and fun. The finish with a stop at a flamenco show complete with a variety of tapas and sherry was the perfect end to an amazing day. She was very accomodating to adding an extra person to our tour. We would certainly recommend Adriane and would book her again next time we are in this region.

Adriene was wonderful! She arrived shortly before we were scheduled to meet her, the ability to communicate in almost real time through the toursbylocal website (essentially texting) was wonderful and we felt we received exactly what we were hoping for! Adriene's command of both English and Spanish is flawless, with her English 100%, well, English. No hint of her being from anywhere other than the US, even though she's lived pretty much all her life overseas. Being a bit older ourselves (wife and I), hearing isn't what it used to be, and it's sometimes tough to pick up well-spoken English that has a foreign accent. We would not hesitate to recommend her.

This was the 3rd tour with Adriane and I am so glad I booked with her. It really helps booking multiple tours with a guide. You get such a better experience when you do. We had a great day with her touring the Alcazar in Jerez and tasting the sherry at Lustau. The highlight was the Flamenco dancers and tapas. I would certainly book another tour with Adriane if we go back to Cadiz. She grew up there but her English is perfect.

Adriane was a fantastic guide. She modified our meeting plan as I was unable to catch the train and I appreciate her flexibility. Saw three great cities and had a wonderful tapas lunch in place she's visited since childhood. Super informative with loads of energy. The sherry tour was particularly enjoyable. Wonderful day!
Your Cadiz tour itinerary
This would be the itinerary (keep in mind the times might change slightly as I start to book everything) Visit the bodega and enjoy a lovely sherry tasting. (1. 5/2 hrs approx) Visit the old moorish fortress, the Alcazar (40min approx) Walk around the old town and see some of its highlights Watch the famous Flamenco show (14:00 - 15:00) Please let me know if anybody has any food allergies or intolerances. ***All of my experiences are customizable.
