Hi! My name is Adriane I am a high-energy, young, and fun individual. I was born to be a host and I am so excited to share my home with you. Not only do I live in an extremely culturally rich area but almost everywhere you go there is something new to see, and learn and delicious to taste. As an American born and raised here in the Cádiz province, I have developed a special relationship with the area. Growing up here, I have become enchanted with the Spanish culture, traditions, food, and people. This is why most of my experiences are created with a mix of Andalusian culture and gastronomy, which are blended exclusively for you the traveler, so that you may fall in love with the area just as I have. I believe with my unique knowledge of the local customs and culture, coupled with my American perspective, I will succeed in sharing my affection for the Spanish lifestyle and provide you with an excellent experience with flavorful delights through the amazing towns of Cádiz. I assure you a dynamic and fun experience incorporating the important landmarks, sights, amusing anecdotes, and tasty tapas, Cádiz is known for, as well as an entertaining and enjoyable time. I also love to explore, if you have a customized adventure in mind. Let me know and we can plan it together. I have a bachelor's degree in International Relations and a masters degree in Human Resources. I have been a cultural guide since 2017 in the fabulous province of Cadiz as well as an unofficial tapa and sherry wine taster. I love to do my experiences on foot. If you want to take a vehicle I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a car (taxi) upon your request. The fish markets in Spain are open from 9:00am to 2:00pm and closed on Sunday and Monday.

Overview of your Cadiz tour

The Province of Cádiz is historically known for its sherry wines, however, more and more wineries are starting to produce their own reds and whites using the special type of land and grape we have here in the South of Spain. In this private luxury guided wine tour you will get to know one of the up-and-coming family-owned wineries in Cádiz as well as visit the beautiful countryside outside Jerez de la Frontera. This one-of-a-kind experience, where you will enjoy a wine tasting of at least 4 high-quality wines plus a taste of the winery's very unique bubbly wine, which we have deemed the champaign of Cadiz, accompanied by a delicious traditional tapa lunch. As the owner himself walks you through the history of his winery and wines. *Please contact me ahead of time to schedule this experience. The owner of the winery does all of his own tours therefore he need to know ahead of time.

We had a splendid private evening for our group of 16, wine tasting and learning about wine making, as well as enjoying a lovely dinner, and all in a lovely rustic setting just a few kilometres from Jerez. Adriane our tour guide was engaging, vivacious and great fun, and all the pre-tour communications were spot on. Adriane also very efficiently organised a separate dinner booking for our large group, which was very helpful. This was my first interaction with Tours By Locals and I am very impressed, and would not hesitate to recommend based on our experience in Jerez.

We had such a good time with Adriane today. First, she set us up for an excellent sherry tasting & tour. Although we still find that sherry isn't our "thing" we still enjoyed the experience. It's the only way to discover what we like. Plus we learned a lot about the sherry making process. Then we enjoyed just walking around Jerez, touring the alcazar and hearing more about the local history and culture. Thank you again Adriane for an enjoyable experience!!

Pick up Drive to the winery Visit the winery with the owner Wine tasting and tapas Drive back to the pick-up location. This experience is normally not available at the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) however please contact me in case there is availability.
