PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM ON MATERNITY LEAVE UNTIL MARCH 2ND. I AM ACCEPTING BOOKINGS BUT MAY BE SLOWER TO RESPOND!!! Come and join me for relaxed tours that maintain the Spanish pace and way of life. I am a local guide who speaks fluent Spanish and native English (albeit with a British accent!) and I'd love to share this part of the world with you, plus all the hidden spots that I have found since moving to Spain. I originally moved to Spain for 10 months. . . six years ago! Having spent this time exploring all sorts of secret places, nooks & crannies in Cadiz Province, I now truly love sharing them! I first began guiding visiting friends & family informally before the pandemic . . . then friends of friends . . . and then mutual friends' acquaintances. This means my tours are laid-back & relaxing. I want us to enjoy our time together and make the most out of your vacation not rushing around, ticking off a checklist. I run guides with three distinct focuses: walking and exploring the beautiful nature of Cadiz; sampling and eating as many tapas & sherry as possible (I have the ability to consume my body weight in them); and meandering through the history and culture of Spain. Whenever possible, I love to combine all three! I also offer Special Cruise Packages in order to allow you to make the most of your day in Cadiz when cruising around Spain. In this case I'd pick you up from the port and drop you back with plenty of time before the ship departs again, and we will discuss what you're most interested in seeing during your day here! As for transportation, I can accompany you in your vehicle or provide a comfortable van with 9 seats (myself and a business partner share driving). Finally, please feel free to drop me message about bespoke tours personally tailored to you and your party. I want to know what interests you and help you make the most of this beautiful part of the world. I am energetic, enthusiastic and have all the strange facts that your heart desires! I am experienced in smooth-running logistics so you can sit back and enjoy your tour! -Bachelors in Classics (Latin, Greek & Ancient History) - University of Bristol. -Operational Manager of a Ski Company 2015-2018 -Provided Bay of Cadiz Tours since 2018 -Fully qualified touristic driver with Spanish Licence with 9 years of experience. -One week minimum notice for tours involving hiking. -Two weeks minimum for tours involving transportation.

Jump on the local Ferry and enjoy the views of the bay and Cadiz from a different angle! Rota is a small town in the bay of Cadiz with all the charms of a traditional pueblo blanco (white village) but by the seaside. Easily walkable plus full of tiny streets and hidden corners. It is the perfect day trip destination from Cadiz or Jerez. This tour also encompasses a visit to a Castle (Castillo de Luna- over a thousand years old and the perfect spot for an iced coffee), the chance for a traditional cheeky kiss at 'besame en esta esquina' (a wall where lovers traditionally kiss and famous in Rota!) and the discovery of the 'poetry route' (where we'll wander round the winding streets to find as many of the famous terracotta poems as possible). In addition to this, we'll enjoy a traditional local breakfast which I'd argue that it's the best I've ever had in Spain! And before we leave, we'll obviously make sure that we sample some local wines! PLEASE NOTE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AS A SHORE EXCURSION
-Once we've gathered in an arranged spot (pickup could be arranged as well) we'll take the ferry from Cadiz to Rota. Alternatively, the tour is also available from Jerez, El Puerto & Rota. -On arrival, I'll show you all the main local sites of Rota: ·Castillo de Luna (a local castle with over a thousand years of history). ·Parroquia de Nuestra Senora (a beautiful church & patio). ·Plaza de Jesus (the best spot for an ice-cream!). -Afterwards, we'll enjoy a traditional breakfast in the bay of Cadiz, with Spanish ham, Salmorejo, freshly squeezed orange juice and a strong coffee. -Later, we'll wander through the white streets of Rota, following the famous poetry route. -We'll eventually arrive at a small bodega where you'll taste some local wines (up to 3 included). -At last, we'll stroll along the marina until reaching the ferry dock and sail back to Cadiz City. -Depending on how much wine we've tried, we may even have a siesta on the ferry ride back!
