Hello! My name is Manuel, Italian born, but with an international heart. Since I was a child, I have been passionate about languages, cultures and history. After completing my studies in Italy, I enrolled in an Egyptology course at the University of Barcelona, where I found my vocation for sharing the past with others. My journey as a tour guide began in 2008, when I left Italy to improve my English, moving to the U.K., followed by experiences in Morocco, Australia and the Netherlands, where I started working as a professional guide. In 2018 I moved to Seville, and later to Cádiz, where I became a fully licensed guide, and currently hold two official guide licenses: GA-07325 and GHP 00630. I completely fell in love with this extraordinary region. Andalusia is a true melting pot of history and traditions, and Cádiz, in particular, has an incredible ancient past and a unique spirit. My tours are not only about history: they are also about gastronomy, local culture, the spirit of the people of Cádiz, and always with a touch of humor. I love bringing history to life, turning old stones into living stories and creating personal experiences for every traveler. As Marcel Proust once wrote: “The only real voyage consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” This is exactly what I would like to share with you.

Seville played a key role during the Spanish Age of Discovery, becoming one of the main departure points for expeditions that brought wealth and power to the city—still visible today in its monuments. The Cathedral of Seville is the most striking example: the largest temple in Spain and the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, built between the 12th and 20th centuries. Visiting it helps to fully understand the historical importance of the city. The Alcazar of Seville is a spectacular palace, symbol of royal power and the unique blend of cultures that defines Andalusia. Used as a filming location for Game of Thrones, it feels like stepping into a fairy tale. Due to high demand, I recommend booking both monuments online when reserving this tour to guarantee entrance and avoid extra fees. Cathedral of Seville: €13 Alcazar of Seville: €15.50 per person Please contact me before purchasing tickets to avoid third-party websites charging extra fees.
You will be picked up by a comfortable car, a professional driver, and myself, a fully licensed tour guide. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and a half. I usually recommend booking the Cathedral first and the Alcazar afterwards. In the Cathedral, we will see: The main altarpiece Christopher Columbus’ tomb The Orange Tree Courtyard The Giralda Tower In the Alcazar: The Hall of Justice The Admiral’s Room The Mudéjar Palace The Ambassadors’ Room The Royal Gardens Please note that in the Cathedral, some areas may be under maintenance, while in the Alcazar, temporary exhibitions may take place, resulting in limited or restricted access. Also, in case of rain or bad weather, for security reasons, the Alcazar gardens may be closed. If you have any mobility issues, please let me know in advance. I will be more than happy to customize your visit, so feel free to get in touch.
