My name is Phillemon but most people call me Phil. I am a registered Tour Guide accredited to work in 5 different South African provinces, and also hold a license to guide in the country of Eswatini. I am very passionate about my job. I love meeting people from different countries around the world. I have been working as a guide for half a decade, and strive towards constant improvement, having attended self-development programs. Safety is my main concern on any tour while driving or walking. I believe to be a very friendly, outgoing person who loves to discover new attractions all the time. And speaking of time, I am always punctual (on time). My goal is to provide an excellent service to my guests and proudly represent South Africa and its rich culture and history to them, becoming an ambassador for my country.

This is an exclusive, one of a kind experience for up to 2 travellers only (ideal for couples!) to enjoy the incomparable African landscape from the sky. Prepare to feel the breeze while we soar across a game drive reserve at sunrise, observing the local fauna in the hills and valleys below us. We could come across free range buffalos, lions, giraffes, antelopes and rhinoceros! I've been doing this tour for half a decade and it still takes my breath away every time I do it. Although visualizing every animal in the reserve cannot be guaranteed, I can assure you from personal experience that I've always seen at least 3 different species every time. Through our day together, I'll contextualize you on South Africa's main cities as well as on our agricultural practices, discussing our country’s history & culture. We’ll also get to talk with our experience hot air balloon pilot experienced pilot and ask anything you'd like to know! What is guaranteed is that you'll return with fond memories of our trip.
-After picking you up, we'll go on a 45 min drive across the South African countryside towards Magaliesburg, passing by farming lands from fields of corn & cabbage to cattle ranches. -On arrival to the hot air balloon station, we'll enjoy a continental breakfast buffet with seasonal fruits & fuit juice, milk, coffee, cheese, eggs & bacon & more! -After our breakfast, I'll introduce you to the pilot who'll brief us on the safety procedures to keep in mind before stepping inside the balloon. -As we start gaining height, we'll go above a nearby ostrich farm, private land plots and local residences. Depending on the route the pilot decides on, we might see the astonishing Magaliesburg Dam and its cascading water either at the beginning or at the end of the flight. -We'll then hover above the UNESCO World Heritage site known as the Cradle of Mankind. -After stepping off the hot air balloon, we'll wrap up the experience with a celebratory toast of either champagne or natural fresh juice, before driving back.
