UNESCO Tour of Transylvania from Bucharest, 3 days

Private tour starting / ending in Bucharest. Explore the best attractions in Transylvania, a unique region with a rich history and a multicultural culture and heritages. It is the host of the very unique Fortified Churches, structures which are combining the religious with defensive role. Many of them are included in the UNESCO Heritages List, together with the medieval town of Sighisoara. I'll also include some sights which are included in the UNESCO tentative list due their cultural and historical role such as the Old Town of Sibiu. Other medieval towns, castles and fortresses are completing our visiting program. You'll enjoy the scenic roads which are passing the Carpathians Mountains with their high peaks and dense forest and the Transylvanian landscape with its green rolling hills and the charming villages spread out between them. You can try local food which is very tasty and diverse due to the multi-cultural specific of Transylvania. You can choose your hotel in Sighisoara.

Day 1. BUCHAREST - PREJMER - VISCRI - SIGHISOARA 9. 00 AM pick-up from your hotel in Bucharest. Panoramic tour of Bucharest. Visits at Prejmer Fortified Church(UNESCO), Viscri village and Fortified Church (UNESCO), Rupea fortress. We'll pass by Saschiz village (UNESCO) End the day in Sighisoara. Accommodation on your own Day 2. SIGHISOARA - BIERTAN - SIBIU - SIGHISOARA In the morning: Walking tour of Sighisoara Old Town (UNESCO) Visit Biertan village and Fortified Church (UNESCO), walking tour in the medieval town of Sibiu. Return to Sighisoara. Accommodation on your own Day 3. SIGHISOARA - BRAN CASTLE - BRASOV - BUCHAREST Visit at the famous Bran castle. Walking tour in the historical center of Brasov. Visit at Peles castle. In the late afternoon / evening we'll arrive at Bucharest. Drop-off at your hotel / address in the city.
