The castles of the Prahova Valley private tour

This tour was a long but beautiful day trip from Bucharest. Adrian advised us to leave early in order to avoid heavy traffic in Bucharest. He also suggested that we consider substituting Predjmer fortified church for Bran Castle owing to the heavily touristic nature and tourist load at Bran Castle. Adrian made very good recommendations. We decided to visit Predjmer Fortress and Peles Castle. Both were good choices. The interior design, decoration and craftsmanship at Peles was nothing short of magnificent. He is allowed to guide tours in Peles Castle so our group of six received personalized and xcellent history and interpretation as we viewed the interior. We had a nice visit to Brasov as well. Very well implemented tour.

What a wonderful day. Seeing the most magnificent castles and structures is like taking a walk through the history of Romania. Adrian knows his stuff and added the most interesting tidbits of knowledge that added to my understanding of Romania and its people. Truly a great tour and a great day.

Wonderful guide. Worth the visit!

This is late in coming, but Adrian was an absolutely marvelous guide from Bucharest, over the Carpathian mountains to Transylvania and back. He even made dinner reservations for us in Bucharest as we returned there at the end of a long day. I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Bucharest: intelligent, knowledgeable, very funny man.
