Bucharest has a lot to offer but you will be surprised to discover the completely different vibe of the surrounding counties. Pristine nature, winding roads; find out the whys and the whens from the middle ages to the 19th century glory days. We start the morning to Sinaia, summer residence of the Romanian kings, with me as your driver & guide. Hear the happy stories, the dramatic end of monarchy in Romania, see the rich interior decorations. Hop back on and head to Bran castle for lunch in its shadow or at local typical mansion. Presentation of its 650 year old history and of its famous owners, reach the inner courtyard by its specially designed elevator, enjoy the stories from inside the castle. It has 3 levels, we will proceed according to your capabilities. Afternoon-drive to Brasov, the emblematic town of Saxon Transylvania & light walk through its main square&historic center. There are no steps to climb, no uphills to take. Drive to Bucharest and drop off at hotel.

Razvan is a fantastic tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. And his English is perfect -- we couldn't believe he is Romanian! We thoroughly enjoyed our day at the Peres and Bran Castles as well as the tour of the old town of Brasov. Razvan goes above and beyond his job as a tour guide with personal stories of life in Romania. We highly recommend him and this tour. We were with him for 13 hours that day and enjoyed every second.
Peles Castle - detailed private visit with your very own guide; Bran Castle - guided visit ; inside tours are provided by castle guides as per management decision, with tours leaving every hour; Brasov - historic center - guided tour by your guide-driver; NOTE 1 : please keep in mind that on Mondays and Tuesdays Peles Castle is closed for interior visits. Also, every year in November the castle closes for preservation and cleaning works. The potential changes in schedule due to holidays or bank holidays are up to the venues' management; NOTE 2: for a max number of 3 guests the transportation will be provided with a 5 seater sedan car and there are no extra charges if you want to add a 4th person. However, should you require a minivan transportation there will be an extra charge of 150 euro/ full day rental/ group.
