Medieval Transylvania Tour, from Bucharest

Private tour starting / ending in Bucharest. We'll explore the South-East corner of Transylvania, the area of Brasov, the most important tourist area in Romania. It is famous for its old towns with origins in Middle Age, the old villages and their amazing and unique Fortified Churches, the impressive gothic Bran castle, also known as Dracula's castle, the sumptuous Peles castle, the former royal residence. Everything blended together with a scenic drive over the Carpathians mountains, passing the beautiful Prahova Valley and its charming little mountain towns. In our trip we'll visit the Bran castle, Prejmer Fortified church, Brasov's Historical center and the Peles castle. The tur is designed to offer you a comfortable and enjoyable journey, with easy walks and time to spend time at your leisure. Day 1. BUCHAREST - BRAN - PREJMER - BRASOV In the morning (between 9. 00-10. . 0 AM, at your choice) I'll meet and pick-up you from your hotel / address in Bucharest. We'll start our journey crossing the Carpathians mountains through the beautiful Prahova Valley, a charming area with small mountain towns. First visit will be at the famous Bran castle, the former border castle of Transylvania, also known as Dracula's castle. Next we'll visit Prejmer Fortified church (UNESCO), a unique defensive structure. End the day in Brasov. Accommodation on your own. Day 2. BRASOV - SINAIA - BUCHAREST In the morning we'll start with a walking tour of Brasov historic center. Black Church, Council Square, Weaver's bastion, Rope's street or Ecaterina's Gate are some of the highlights. Next we'll visit the amazing Peles Castle, former royal residence dating since the end of 19th century. We'll end our trip in Bucharest (estimated at 4. 00-5. 00 PM) at your hotel or address in the city or at the airport.
