Overview of your Bucharest tour
If you are in Romania for a short time and you want to visit some of the most beautiful sites on the Prahova Valley and in Transylvania, this is the tour for you! In only two days you will cover a lot of ground with me, an experienced local guide who has done this tour many times. Included in this tour: visits to Peles Castle (the most beautiful castle in Romania) and Sinaia Monastery. Transylvania has many forts and fortresses as well as fortified churches. We visit Bran Castle or Prejmer Fortified Church. Photo stops at Rupea Fortress and Saschiz. Also, we will visit Sighișoara, the best preserved medieval town, birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, known as Dracula! Another interesting stop: Viscri Traditional Village and Fortified Church. How about Brasov - so called Kronstadt? Here we will certainly see the Black Church (I will share why is called this way), the main square and walk through the Rope street - curios to learn its origins? It is only the narrowest street in Europe! Come and enjoy it!
Your Bucharest tour itinerary
We visit: Day 1: -Peles Castle (most beautiful castle in Romania); -Sinaia Monastery; -Bran Castle or Prejmer Fortress; - Quick stop for photos at Rupea Fortress and Saschiz Fortress; -Sighisoara (the most spectacular fortified town from Transylvania); city exploration. We spend the night in Sighisoara. Day 2: -The fortified church from Viscri (one of the most beautiful fortified churches from Transylvania); -Brasov city - the City Council Square, - the Black Church, - the Rope Street. Romania is still a very safe country from all points of view, despite of what you might have heard. I can recommend places for accommodation with meals included. I will be with you between 8-9 hours each day. If any of my tours does not meet your budget, please feel free to let me know. Modern, clean car, in perfect running condition. It is recommended for 1 to 3 passengers. For groups of 4 passengers, the van of max 8 passengers is a much better option!
