You will be happy for choosing Romania as your next place to visit and I can help you to make the most of it! My name is Dan, I am 34 and I was born in Timisoara, came to Bucharest when I was seven, but my family originates from all around Romania. With an authentic passion for history (my first book ever read when I learned to do that was a history book), participating in national history contests in high-school and with history University studies, I am enthusiastic in sharing my knowledge with my guests. I started doing private tours with guests from all over the world when I was 20 (and never stopped since then), while I was still studying. A Master's degree in Tourism came naturally and now I manage a 4 star hotel in Bucharest, but doing private tours is still the thing I enjoy the most! That and also travelling myself, trying to visit a new destination every year! As you should do also! The Danube's last stint in Europe, surrounding the Carpathian Mountains and forming shores at the Black Sea; split between Europe's greatest Empires throughout history, Romania is a special place, somewhere between east and west, it has many things to offer if you know where to look and I can help you do just that. Let's discover it together! Bachelor degree in History from the University of Bucharest Master's degree in Tourism from the Economical Studies Academy National tourism guide certified by the Ministry of Tourism in Romania Sommelier certified by the Ministry of Work in Romania

Follow the footsteps of Vlad the Impaler in this one-day private tour in this special day trip from Bucharest! If you want to experience the legacy left by the real Dracula, this is the tour for you! Vlad Tepes, the inspiration for the legend, left his mark on Medieval Romania and you can experience some of it first-hand: Poenari Fortress - Vlad's strategic base in his wars, Targoviste - the country's capital during his reign and the Snagov Monastery - his final resting place. This tour is the perfect chance to put into context hundreds of years of Romanian history and to put my history university studies to good use! Yes, as a historian, I have lot's to share about who Vlad really was!
- Poenari Fortress - one of the few strongholds actually built by Vlad and still standing - Targoviste - capital of Medieval Romania during Vlad's time - Snagov Monastery - Vlad's probable final resting place and a lovely Monastery on an island in a middle of a lake near Bucharest - Curtea de Arges Monastery the cradle of Christianity in Romania and resting place for many kings and queens of this country. Tour can be customized, don't hesitate to tell me about your requests. The tour is available also for a maximum of 8 persons (transporation done with a minivan), at the same rate.
