Day trip from Bucharest to Dracula's Castle Tour

Christi was an exceptional guide and truly made our Transylvania tour unforgettable. From the moment we set off through the stunning Prahova Valley, he set the tone with a perfectly curated playlist that made the drive both fun and immersive. His knowledge of Romanian history added so much depth to every stop. At Peleș Castle and Sinaia Monastery, he brought the stories behind the architecture and culture to life in a way that felt engaging—not scripted. Our time in Brașov was perfectly paced, giving us just the right amount of freedom to explore the charming old town while still benefiting from his insights. The highlight for many was Bran Castle, where Christi’s context and storytelling made the experience far more meaningful than just walking through on our own. And beyond being a fantastic guide, he was hands-down the best photographer we could have asked for—he knew all the angles, lighting, and spots to capture incredible memories from the trip. If you’re considering a Transylvania tour, don’t hesitate—Christi elevates the entire experience.

Fantastic day with Christi, really knew his stuff and was pointing out different facts and interesting points all day. Mainly though we felt really comfortable with him as he is a really friendly guy. Would definitely recommend.

We are so glad we selected Cristi as our guide for our first visit to Romania. He helped us understand much of its history as well as the current issues in the country. Getting to see some of the well-known sites of the Transylvania region was a highlight of our trip. It's a long day from Bucharest, especially as we were caught up in the Easter Monday traffic, but well worth it. Cristi was flexible with stops as needed and giving us options during the day to make the most of our time. We fell very fortunate that he was available for our dates.
